Description of project and customer issues
A company specialising in providing innovative solutions in EPC, engineering, services and products for nuclear environments has worked on several power stations in France and internationally.
At the request of its client, the company wanted to carry out a comprehensive assessment of on-site security practices. The assessment highlighted:
- an increase in accidents,
- and deviations from the practices expected by operators.
The diagnosis was carried out in controlled and uncontrolled areas, covering activities such as handling, lifting and the use of specific tools.
To support this initiative, AEGIDE INTERNATIONAL conducted a multi-stage project aimed at analysing existing practices, identifying areas requiring attention and proposing an operational action plan to strengthen security on the site in the long term. This plan was comprehensive and structured, tailored to the specific challenges of the site.

The safety culture diagnosis was conducted through several étapes structurées, garantissant une analyse complète et actionnable :
- Documentary study : Analysis of the existing security system to identify processes, standards and any discrepancies.
- Development and distribution of a questionnaire : Assessment of the perception of and adherence to safety culture among all employees and temporary workers.
- Targeted interviews : Conducting interviews with a representative panel including:
- the operators,
- site managers,
- HSE managers,
- managetrs,
- and top management.
- On-site observations Analysis of actual practices in operations, covering controlled and uncontrolled areas, handling, lifting and use of specific tools.
- Report writing and presentation : Presentation of findings and formulation of recommendations, accompanied by a operational action plan addressed to the company and its customer, guaranteeing the monitoring and continuous improvement of safety practices.
