Description of project and customer issues

A subsidiary of an international group operating in the mining and logistics sector, located near the capital of an African country, asked AEGIDE INTERNATIONAL to assess the safety culture at its site and identify areas for improvement.

The main objective of this mission was to assess security practices and make targeted recommendations to improve the site's security performance.

The AEGIDE INTERNATIONAL team faced several challenges:

• the co-activity of subcontractors from diverse cultures,
• third-party employees unfamiliar with safety investigations,
• and sometimes inconsistent procedures or methods.

This assessment identified priority areas for improvement and proposed support measures to develop a more robust and structured safety culture tailored to the specific challenges of the site.
