Description of project and customer issues

A company specialising in the extraction and processing of mineral sands wanted to develop the skills of its ERT (Emergency Response Team) to ensure site safety during interventions.

Activities / Tasks and Solutions developed by Aegide International

The objective of this mission was to train trainers capable of:

  • Ensuring operational safety in these remote environments.
  • Lead theoretical and practical training and be able to assess the skills of instructors and supervisors.

To achieve this, AEGIDE INTERNATIONAL has implemented a structured programme comprising six components:

  1. Facilitation of the module combining theory and practice trainer
  2. Improvement of teaching techniques
  3. Diagnosis and recommendations regarding equipment, materials and stock management
  4. Presentation and demonstration of the practical part on site (role-play)
  5. Presentation of rescue and stretcher techniques
  6. Validation of participants' skills to deliver the full training course

Results

This course enabled participants to master all the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure training and safety during operations.
