Description of project and customer issues
FARGESBOIS, based in Egletons in Corrèze and born from the acquisition of the former Guy Farges sawmill, is specialized in wood processing.
The business activities of the company cover:
- Forest exploitation
- 1st transformation (sawing activities)
- 2nd transformation (transformation of sawn timber)
- Transformation of sawdust and shavings in granules for heating.
FARGESBOIS requested technical support from Aegide International after it had identified non-conformities in terms of LOTO, both in terms of practices and documentation. The company does not have the skills and the internal resources to comprehensively assess its LOTO Policy and its practices in order to then establish an action plan.

- Update the documentation related to LOTO:
- Update of the existing procedure
- Drafting of various additional forms and sheets, including :
- "Using a personal padlock" form
- "Authorising a lockout" form
- "Recording a lockout" form
- "Auditing a lockout" form
- "Remove a padlock by force" form
- Drawing up directories / inventories of energised equipment
- Drafting of lockout sheets for energised equipment
- Design of a training module for the company's LOTO procedure
