Description of project and customer issues
A French industrial equipment manufacturer and integrator with an international presence, the group designs and produces equipment and solutions for energy, the environment, defence and high technology. It wanted to strengthen the commitment, leadership and skills of its senior managers to ensure active and sustainable management of health and safety at work.
The objective of this mission was to train managers in order to:
- Define the levers for action as a manager to improve safety culture.
- Identify the key elements of a health and safety management system.
- Explain the risk management and incident investigation process.
- Identify the factors influencing behaviour,
Activities / Tasks and Solutions developed by Aegide International
AEGIDE INTERNATIONAL implemented a specific training programme entitled ‘Safety Culture & Management’ for a group of 30 managers, comprising the following activities:
- Presentation of the company's safety values and assessment of the importance of health and safety at work
- Identification of the elements of a health and safety management system
- Explanation of the risk management process
- Presentation of the incident investigation process
- Identification of factors influencing behaviour
- Defining the manager's levers for improving safety culture
Results
This approach has strengthened managers' skills, developed their leadership in safety matters and promoted a sustainable safety culture within the company.
