Description of project and customer issues
The reconstruction of the multi-sector center in Ivry/Paris XIII is among the largest waste treatment facility projects carried out in France today. The objective was to transform the existing, aging center into state-of-the-art equipment. With the ambition of creating a benchmark factory, in France and in Europe.
As part of this large-scale construction project, Aegide International was contacted by several companies and subcontractors to mobilize several HSE professionals, particularly HSE Supervisors, over a period from December 2020 to June 2022.

The general objectives of the mission as Safety Officer are:
- Planning for safety compliance and performance
- Monitoring regulatory requirements
- Safety performance management
- Advise/alert the customer on specific safety issues
- Act as the main point of contact for HSE questions on the project
- Keep the site manager informed of all site-related activities
- Implementation of HSE policies and objectives
- Controls and inspections of the implementation of customer standards & requirements and regulatory compliance
- Incident reporting and investigations
