Description of project and customer issues

The Occupational Health and Safety Insurance Agency has launched a prevention programme to combat chemical risks in the workplace. The programme's objectives are as follows:

  • Supporting companies in the prevention of chemical risks;
  • Reduce employee exposure;
  • Reduce consequential repair costs, including those due to occupational cancers.

The main objective of this programme is to support companies in implementing their chemical risk prevention measures.

In this context, the teams at AEGIDE INTERNATIONAL were mobilised to provide three days of training on chemical risks for representatives and managers.

In order to introduce this programme, a pilot session was held between 2025 and 2026, and a second session is planned for April/June 2026.
Support was provided during a training course run by AEGIDE INTERNATIONAL for participants with the aim of preventing chemical risks in their companies.

The first two days of the training took place in Orléans to present the chemical risk assessment process. Then, intersessional work allowed participants to advance in their chemical risk assessment.

A personalised one-to-one meeting was then held to monitor progress and provide solutions to the issues faced by each participant.

To conclude, a third day of training allowed each participant to present their chemical risk assessment work, share their feedback and focus the rest of the day on facilitating the prevention process.

A review meeting with CARSAT on training and work was organised with the aim of improving future training sessions.
