SIBLU Villages operates 20 holiday villages and camp sites in France welcoming nearly 400 000 customers every year. The company employs a permanent workforce of 540 employees, which rises up to 1 500 people throughout the summer months.

The company sought a qualified service provider to accompany the company’s management in the implementation of its HSE vision. Aegide International was tasked with helping the company ensure that it was conforming with complex regulations, that it was promoting the best industry safety standards, as well as providing advice on how to best implement its safety standards on a highly decentralized work structure that is reliant on a large proportion of seasonal workers.

Aegide International was tasked with:

• Assessing the existing safety management system
• Providing advice on key systemic and operational improvements 
• Providing expert support in the implementation of operational action plan
• Development and dissemination of Safety best practices throughout the sites
• Monthly monitoring of the site’s HSE activities
• Providing HSE support to all the holiday villages operated by the company

In the process of providing these services we have developed

• A corporate safety diagnostics tool 
• Put in place safety communications channels
• Assisted in the development of seasonal worker onboarding tools
