<p>SPAC, a subsidiary of the COLAS group, works in France and internationally to build and maintain water and energy networks.</p>



<p>SPAC, particularly its HTB agency located in Nanterre, is currently working on the deployment of the electrical connection and the installation of onshore and offshore ducts/pipes at the Dieppe wind farm on behalf of its clients Nexans and RTE. ​</p>



<p>Aegide International was working alongside SPAC on HSE coordination.​</p>

The company does not have the skills and the internal resources to comprehensively assess its LOTO Policy and its practices in order to then establish an action plan.​</p>

<p>Located in the port area of Owendo, the New International Port of Owendo (NOIP) is a port infrastructure serving industry and trade in Gabon.</p>



<p>A subsidiary of the Arise Ports &amp; Logistics group, this port terminal is equipped to handle the entire logistics chain for a wide range of cargo, from ship to industry, thanks to modern equipment and its own logistics fleet.</p>



<p>Aegide International was commissioned by the NOIP in October 2022 to conduct a diagnostic assessment of its road safety performance and implement a road safety management strategy.</p>



<p>In response to the findings of the assessment, Aegide International was engaged to assist NOIP in developing and implementing a risk-based approach to road safety. This is a first step in developing a strong safety culture that will protect NOIP's staff, customers, assets and global operations.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size" style="font-style:normal;font-weight:800">Project objective</h2>



<p>The main objective of this project was to support NOIP in implementing a road safety management system (RSMS) that would align the company with the certification requirements of ISO 39001.</p>

<p>The execution of the project took place in three stages according to the following approach:​</p>

<p>The reconstruction of the multi-sector center in Ivry/Paris XIII is among the largest waste treatment facility projects carried out in France today. The objective was to transform the existing, aging center into state-of-the-art equipment. With the ambition of creating a benchmark factory, in France and in Europe. ​</p>



<p>As part of this large-scale construction project, Aegide International was contacted by several companies and subcontractors to mobilize several HSE professionals, particularly HSE Supervisors, over a period from December 2020 to June 2022.​</p>

<p>BlaBlaCar is a digital car-sharing platform that brings drivers and passengers together.</p>



<p>The company has 90 million users in 22 countries, making it the world leader in long-distance car-sharing services. Since 2019, BlaBlaCar's offering has been extended to include bus transport. The company's coach services carry 10 million passengers across Europe. This transport activity involves a fleet of up to 400 coaches, all owned and operated by subcontractors. Following a number of road accidents involving buses operating under the BlaBlaCar brand, the company decided to implement a proactive road risk management strategy.</p>



<p>Blablacar commissioned Aegide International to carry out a diagnostic of its road safety management procedures. This diagnosis enabled the company to identify significant gaps in its road safety management system. Using the results of this gap analysis, Aegide International was able to guide the client throughout the process of developing a corporate road safety strategy.</p>

<p>The WEBUILD / NGE GC consortium, as part of its partnership on the Lot 2 project for Line 16 of the Grand Paris Express, is seeking the services and expertise of Aegide International to provide HSE Supervision as Tunnel and Surface Works Safety Officer.</p>



<p>At the peak of activity, 3 Aegide International consultants are mobilised. Our collaboration began in September 2022 and is ongoing.</p>

<p>The EBRD is supporting Dolidol Company in the development of its activities and in this context the EBRD is developing a technical assistance in order to improve the management of occupational road safety risks. The road transport sector in Morocco is characterized by a high fragmentation (95% of the companies own in average 3 to 5 trucks); Dolidol’s fleet (150 vehicles including 110 trucks) is therefore one of the biggest fleets in Morocco.</p>



<p>The objective of the Assignment is therefore to support Dolidol in the development and implementation of a formal road safety management system in line with its operations. This system will build on the current practices and will be aligned with the quality management system in place (ISO9001 certification) in order to target an integrated management system.</p>

<p>Following rapid expansion in its workforce, Schlumberger required external assistance to implement its health and safety training programme across the European and African geo-market. <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="https://www.aegide-international.com/en_gb/a-propos/" title="Aegide International" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Aegide International</a> was hired to integrate safety training professionals into the Schlumberger organisation in order to provide training services during the onboarding process for engineers and during operational phases on technical issues ranging from defensive driving to first aid.</p>
