What is it ?
The 7 HAZARDOUS ENERGIES is an induction Safety tool intended to all newcomers on all types of sites, especially the personnel of the lowest qualifications.
It gives to the personnel :
a clear idea of how the energies present at site may harm them
precise do and dont’s recommendations on each source of danger.
How does it work ?
We prepare your “7 Dangerous Energies” brochure from the photographs of your hazard sources, and / or your risk analysis documents. You just need to send the pictures by email (75 x 55 mm / 150 dpi / jpg), or request us to send our HSE consultant to take the photographs.
We provide an initial training module - and send our trainer if needed - to give an initial briefing (2H00) in a class room, where the personnel is given their personal copy of the 7 Dangerous Energies brochure.
At site, the personnel visit the hazard sources shown in the brochure and receives then explanations from designated experienced personnel. The brochure is signed to follow the progression of the personnel.
When all hazard sources have been visited, the site manager authorizes the newcomer to work alone and change his “green hat” to an other colour.
What are the advantages of this system?
It is simple and inexpensive.
Personnel receive simple and concrete explanations verbally, which is much more effective compared to written rules, especially for the lowest qualifications personnel.
Personnel receive instructions from persons in charge, which also much more effective as safety litterature. They have the opportunity to ask questions.
Supervisors participation is encouraged by welcoming their proposals for photographs in the brochure and even rewarding them. Finally this results in preventing accidents.

Example: 25 to 35 eu per booklet - A5 format - 34 pages - 50 photographs - delivery within 20 days.
